Our Society
Sugarfoot Stomp is an incorporated society with charitable status, which means it has rules which set out how the society operates. It also sets out the society can spend money, how the Board is elected, and how Annual General Meetings (AGMs) are called.
Our Financials
A core value of Sugarfoot Stomp is that we are financially sustainable and transparent. We spend money in the best interests of our Society. The annual Performance Reports, when they become available, will be linked here.
Annual Performance Reports are required to retain our Tier 4 Registered Charitable Status.
Our Code of Conduct
Our aim at Sugarfoot Stomp is to create fun, open and positive spaces for you to enjoy. In doing so we ask members and attendees to abide by our Code of Conduct to ensure this remains the case for everybody.
The Code of Conduct applies to all Sugarfoot Stomp classes, workshops, events, and activities.
Sugarfoot Stomp’s Annual Performance Report for 2021 gained Highly Commended (2nd Place) for the 2023 NZ Charities Reporting Awards.
There are about 38,000 Tier 1, 2, 3, 4 Charities operating in New Zealand so this is HUGE recognition for our volunteer based organisation.
